A web service for displaying color contours of your data, which you provide in the form of (latitude,longitude,z-data) on top of Google maps-- complete with dynamic map controls, satellite, terrain, etc.

This is sometimes called a heatmap, even if the data isn't heat-related.

With a simple lookup procedure, you can also display zip code related data, though we don't provide the zip code lookup just yet.

A wide variety of potential uses exist:

The service is server-side rendered and is programmable via the simple HTTP POST mechanism, so you can include such maps in your own web site.

The user (or web developer) has control over

• blending level (local to points vs. large-region smoothing)
• granularity of the color cells
• other useful display parameters.
